This page has some common questions and answers that you may want to read for further information.
If your question is not here then please feel free to email for additional information.

1. Are you closing and will you reopen?
  • Yes we are closing and it is not likely we will reopen once our renovations are finished as we have decided to retire from business in three years anyway.

2. Do you have  marbles?
  • We have a fabulous marbles of very high quality patterns.

3. How old are your kittens when they leave for their new homes?
  • Kittens must be at least 12 - 14 weeks of age before leaving their mothers and siblings to ensure proper socialization and stable health.

4. Are your pets spayed or neutered before leaving the premises?
  • Yes and no exceptions are made for their sakes against unscupulous backyard breeders

5. Are the pet kittens vaccinated and dewormed before leaving the cattery?
  • yes

6. How do we receive our new kitten?
  • You are free to pick up your kitten or shipment by air is available year round unless there is an embargo in effect or the weather is extremely cold or hot. If you are doing a pick-up of your kitten and your kitten is not previously paid for we accept only cash.

7. What is a deposit, is it refundable and how much is it?
  • A deposit is an amount put down to reserve the kitten you want until you can pick it up.
  • The deposit is $200 for a pet.

8. Are all the prices the same?
  • Sometimes, but generally the prices are set to the type and quality of the kitten. For instance an open marble kitten is pricier than a spotted because it is much rarer especially in Canada

9. Do you perform, permit or agree with declawing cats or kittens?
  • Absolutely not. If you purchase a feline from us and perform this surgery it will render the health warranty void.

10. Do you sell retired cats?
  • yes we gave several available

11. What is your health warranty?
  • We warranty your kitten to the age of 1 year with a suitable replacement if it has fatal congenital health problems. If so we will replace your purchase price as long as the cats demise is vertified by an autopsy done as to be caused by a congentital health defect.

12. How do you feel about letting the cat out of doors?
  • A Bengal kitten or cat is usually stolen in a matter of hours. Cats are not automatically street smart and can be killed by cars or torn apart by dogs. One of our cats was stolen from its owners home when they did not lock their doors.

13. Why are Bengal's so expensive?
  • First of all they are purebred and can be registered. They are carefully bred for health and beauty. There is much thought and care put into the purchase of the Bengal parents as we do not breed just to provide pets but also show and breeder cats. We breed to further and hopefully progress the breed into a state of excellence along with all of our fellow breeders.  The Bengal looks like a wildcat that has stepped out of the jungle and into your living room but it has the temperament of a domestic feline. This is achieved through careful breeding programs.
  • There are far too many associated expenses concerned with breeding to mention and it is common that breeders actually do not break even with their costs for several years after starting their programs.
  • But in saying all of this they are no more expensive than other quality purebred pets.

14. Why do I see cheap Bengal's in ads?
  • Cheap Bengal's out of the trunks of cars or available in parking lots etc. are not usually quality purebred Bengal's. Most of the time they look similar to purebreds but are probable half-breeds from someone who has bought a pet Bengal and decided to become a backyard breeder. They don't want to pay all the expenses of professional registered and ethical breeders. They can be raised in questionable circumstances. You may feel sorry for these kittens and want to 'rescue' the kitten but chances are you will be paying plenty for health care for your kitten. Some kittens and dogs from mills die shortly after purchase because of the rampant disease and lack of care they received from their breeders. If you buy from the kitty mills they will have sales and will continue this despicable practice so you are contributing to their shady business and to the abuse of many innocent kittens and breeder cats. If you cannot afford a Bengal kitten then look to the retired cats which are some of the most beautiful cats available for a very reasonable price or adopt from your Humane Societies or SPCA which have beautiful animals which will be altered for you and are at a very reasonable cost. You will be giving an unwanted animal a loving home and doing a wonderful thing for a poor abandoned animal.
  • The cliche that 'you get what you pay for! 'is generally true when dealing with backyard breeders and you will not get a backed up health warranty like you do from honest and hard working breeders.
  • The only purebred animal worth paying your hard earned money out for is a registered beautiful animal out of an ethical breeder.
